I forget what the number is called, but I mean the first one, like 230/150 or something to that effect. I would think a seizure is possible, but am unaware of the consequences. Thank you for your concern, but it is not me that suffers from it. I have a relative that has been on medication for high blood pressure for a long time and still has extremely high numbers almost everyday. Honestly, I do not understand how he is still standing.
Hypertensive urgency is what it is called when someones blood pressure is acutely out of control. The consequence of this is a hypertensive emergency, which indicates target organ damage. There can be damage to the heart, brain, eyes and/or kidney.
