What Is Suboxone Used For?

I Have been on Suboxone 16 mg a day for 7 years for pain and I have looked all over the net and it says that suboxone is not to be used for pian. so which is it?

Suboxone is a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone.Buprenorphine is an opioid and naloxone is used to block the effects of buprenorphine. So there will not be much pain relief with Suboxone. It is used to treat opioid addiction. Any use for pain relief would be an off label use and is not likely to be very useful.
