What Is VDM Kit And How Do I Take The Medications?

i went to the doctor for my pap smear and the results indicate that the cells are reactive..... and I have been put on VDM kit... what does it mean and how should l take the medication? can l take two and after a while l take the remaining two? and I was also told to go for another pap smear after three months? i really do not understand

Thanks for your query.

VDM KIT containing Fluconazole, Azithromycin and Secnidazole is a kit of drugs to treat vaginal discharge. This treatment is recommended on the principle of ‘Syndromic Management of Sexually Transmitted Diseases’
Abnormal pap smear could be due to chronic cervicitis.
The above mentioned drugs help in treatment of chronic cervicitis and thus improve your chances of normal pap smear on follow up.
You need to take all the three drugs simultaneously after food. No drug interactions have been note with these drugs taken together.
