What Is A Painful Bump On The Middle Of Chest Suggestive Of?

Hello Doctor! I m a 32 year old male who developed a bump in the middle of my chest last summer. The bump is constantly painful especially when I sneeze or move suddenly. The pain is bearable except when I touch it - it is very tender to the touch. I sought medical attention, and they took an x-ray, which came back normal. They then recommended a cat scan, which they said was also normal. The final recommendation was to take pain medication as needed. I can feel a physical bump and it is painful, but would like to know what to do next since my primary care physician came up empty.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if it is the lump as you said then it should have been detected in imaging study, of course the area must be paining but it may not be due to lump or swelling, the only option remain is fine needle aspiration, hope this information helps.
