Hi doc. I did my ultrasound last May 7, 2014 and this was the impression... - single, live, intrauterine pregnancy, presently in cephalic presentation, about 33 weeks and 3 days AOG - Anterior placenta, Grade III- - Normohydramnios With this impression, is my pregnancy normal doc?
Hi, Anterior placenta means that the location of the placenta in on the anterior(front part) of the uterus.. They have not mentioned whether its in the lower segment or upper segment. If its in the upper segment, there should be don problem. Other than that, the report is fine. If the placenta is in the lower segment, its called placenta preavia. Its a complicated condition and normal delivery will not be possible.
