What Is Causing Cramps In The Pelvic Area?

My name is Cheyenne I am 22 and take lithium, Seroquel, and mirtazapine for bipolar disorder and currently on the depo shot. I just got my 3rd depo shot and for the past month or so I have been having severe pain (like spasms) in my left side about 2x a week if not more , when the pain starts it last till I get the urge to go to the bathroom and have a bowl movement and vomit. Also I have had cramping (like period cramps) in my pelvic area. Could either 1 of these problems be connected? What can cause these problems?

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound abdomen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
