What Is Causing Frequent Passing Of Stools In Infant After Starting Solid Food?

My son just turned 6 months old 10 days back and I started semi solid foods such as mashed carrots, peas, rice, dal etc.Ever since he has been passing stools more than 5 times a day.His stool test came with 'positive reducing agent'.I feed him only breast milk. What is the cause of the frequent stool passing? Will stopping milk help?If so,for how long?
