What Is Causing My Daughter's Chest Pain And Shortness Of Breath?

Yes I have a daughter that is 18 years old and has been in the hopital ER twice this week with shortness of breath and chest pain she has even been admitted to the hospital on the second ER vist. they ran blood work, X- Rays, ecocardio gram, altrasound on veins and pelvic also a MRI and she has been see by a Gastorologist, and a Cardiologist. Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since all her reports are normal, no need to worry for major heart or lung related diseases for your daughter.
In teenagers, stress and anxiety can also cause similar symptoms.
So better to take her to psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.
Try to identify stressor in her life and start working on its solution.
She may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Don't worry, she will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
