What Is Causing My Hip Pain After An Injury?

I have hip pain. It feels like its internal. There s a little bruise but that s not on the spot of the pain. I hurt it a while back thinking the pain would leave but it hasn t. I hurt it playing soccer. I swung my foot and I twisted my lower body to the left and my upper body to the right and that s when the pain started. What could it be?

Hello,
Thanks for your query.

Since the bruise around your hip is painful, a bone or ligament injury is likely. You need to get an X-ray of the area done. MRI is the best investigation to diagnose the internal hip joint structures injury. Till then avoid weight bearing on the hip and keep the leg elevated on two pillows.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from hip pain . If you are walking then it is likely to be soft tissue injury.Treatment of it is analgesic such as diclofenac and rest. If you are unable to walk then you should get x-ray done to exclude fracture.
