What Is Causing Nausea With Loss Of Appetite?

I was starting to have dinner when suddenly I felt nauseous, hot and sweaty, and had no appetite. I Did not have a temperature. Within 10 minutes, I returned to normal. I am 72 years old , in good health, And have never had this type of experience before. Do I have cause for concern?

Hi thanks for asking question.
You have felt this symptoms only for the one time.So just now it need an follow up watch up in next lunch and dinner.

This nausea like feeling might be because of simple stomach upset by outside food.
If you have repeated symptoms of nausea then antibiotic might needed.

This type symptom also can occur by small peptic ulcer.omeprazole taken for it.

If you have abdomen pain also then gastroenteritis can be the cause.antibiotic given for it.

If in subsequent few days you have yellow urine and sclera then serum liver enzyme study done to rule out hepatitis.

If you are using any drug like anti diabetic or any antibiotic drug that can lead nauseating feeling.

So if your symptoms increasing then only above all work up needed in 2 to 3 days.
