hey i was in a car crash 6 months ago. Not sure if i hit my knee or what but it hurt to walk on and was swollen so they toke me in for x-rays. But said nothing it was wrong. But it still hurts at times when i walk for while and still has the numb feeling on the side of it. Is that normal or is something wrong?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

No, it can't be normal. Possibly you have got your ligaments & even nerves stretched. There may be an injury to the spine as well. Kindly go to an ortho surgeon and get it properly investigated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirmal Chander Gupta, Orthopaedic Surgeon
