What Is Causing Sinus Headaches, Cough And Fatigue And Getting No Relief With Antibiotics?

my daughter has been sick for 3 weeks. She is still not 100 percent. Her symptoms are headache, cough and fatigue. She has had sinus headaches too. She has been on an antibiotic since last monday? Could she have something besides bronchitis and a sinus infection? How long does this last?

Thank you for choosing HCM

How long has she been on the antibiotics? If she has not completed the course of antibiotics, then she should finish it.

If she has finished them, and the infection has not subsided then she will need different antibiotics to help her. She will need to see a Doctor and get a culture and sensitivity test done. In this test, the bacteria is grown and tested with different antibiotics to see which will kill it.

Then she is started on that. If this does not work, then she may have something else. She will need to be examined to confirm the diagnosis. All the best.

Hope this helps you
