The top of my left foot began hurting about 10 days ago. The pain wasn t constant. However it seems to be migrating up my leg. It hurts up above ankle now continuing across of foot. Hurts to walk. Clothing or bed covers, anything touching just tHe skin is painful. Any idea? Never had anything like this.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As due to injury there will be a disturbance in the microvasculature capillaries leading to abnormal sensation to the skin.

This is common thing. Trying out icing and elevation of the foot over a pillow will help the healing to occur.

There is nothing sounding major here but still, if possible an x-ray will be good to rule out any bony injuries.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
