What Is Gastroparesis?

I have diabetes, had it for 60 years and have been diagonosed with gastroparises I can no longer take my insulin before meals, It will give me reaction if I do, so I know I have to wait , but how long after meals do I need to wait? If I skip my shot my blood sugar go up to 300-400 for the next reading and when I cover that I will have LOW reaction all night long. Please help if you can. Thank you , Bente

You can take Rapid acting insulin like novorapid just after starting your meal. Adjust dose of insulin as per blood sugar level.
