What Is Life Expectancy After Having Hashimoto's And On Thyroid Medication?
I have hashemotoes have been hosptalized for over 1 and a half years,, regaining but now it seems my stength is fading other signs,,doctore folow me closely. now she said I now need thyroid and will take it the rest of my life..
I am 66 years old.
Please, would like to ne more active go fishing but i can hardly get out of bed..
i amon levothyroid.05 and three other meds since they are giving to me my a physictress I assume this is becuase my brain was first attacm
My question is my life expectancy and further posly what are my odds?

The life expectancy is not shortened by hashimoto's disease if you are on good treatment. The chance of decreased life expectancy in hypothyroidism is by increased cholesterol and chance of cardiac disease.
So no need to worry. Take your levothyroid regularly and anjoy your life
