What Is Normal Weight Of 4.5 Months Old Child?

my baby is 4.5 months and he is exclusively on breastfeed.when should i start top feed for him considering i need to join back work in the next one month and what should i include in his diet? Also what should be his weight at 4.5 months? please suggest..thanks

If you intends to join work next month it is almost the time to start your baby with some top milk feeds and may be some semisolid foods in next 10-15 days time.
To start with your baby can be given milk (NAN1/LACTOGEN 1) feeds either with a boiled bottle or with a katori and spoon (preferably).
Aabout the semisolid foods you can start giving him suji, mashed fruits (banana/cheeku/mango ),and then gradually one can introduce other foods like khichri /dalia/poha depending upon his liking and intake.
Mashed potatoes and other softly cooked vegetables can be tried as he grows to around 6-7 months of age
His weight at 4.5 months should be around 5-6 kg (birth wt plus 3-4 kg)
