Hi.., I recently came from India to the united states 3 months ago...every morning I am passing loose stools around 2-4 times after breakfast. I thought it was milk and started using probiotic it dint help, used Imodium it int help
I want o know what is causing it...thank

i can understand your concern
(1) the description given by you indicates that you are suffering from a type of gastro intestinal tract infection called as AMOEBIASIS
(2) it is caused by a micro-organism called as ENTAMEBA HISTOLYTICA
(3) the symptoms are frequent loose stools but some patiets can also have associated abdominal cramps and discomfort
(4) its treatment is very simple...take single dose of TABLET SECNIDAZOLE 2 grams ....it is an over the counter drug and you dont need a prescription for purchasing this medicine
(5) take it at bed time and you will be ok by the next morning
