What Is Reason And Treatment For Chest Caving In In Toddler?
my grandson is 18mths and ever since he was a new born the middle of his chest caves in and in the past few months it has gotten worse his PCP says that there is nothing to worry about right now but that this might effect his breathing. I am worried and she said that he can have surgery not till he is 5 yrs old. What is this and what can we do about this I am very concerned about his health and his future.

Yes it is normal in some cases but better you go for x- ray.
Othwr reason are congenital heart disease, asthma, lung collapsed, pnuemonia, but in your case these possibilties are remote as you said it is there since birth.
