What Is The Another Hole Like Thing Near The Asshole?

hi my mum is complaining of an extra hole like thing above her anus, which looked like a little dent. Further down from that there was some skin that joined both butt cheeks and further down from that the actual asshole. She is also complaining of itchyness in that area. Any idea what that dent could be?
