What Is The Best Method For Weight Loss?

I am 60 pounds overweight. I am ashamed I have developed bowed looking legs at the knee. You know what I mean. How much weight do I need to lose before my legs don't look like the horrible pictures of the contestants on the biggest loser. Also, does this do permanent damage to my bones and alignment

Welcome to HCM,

If you are 60 pounds overweight then your BMI would also be high.To check your BMI I would require your weight and height.
Bow legs can also be corrected by certain exercises such as yoga or you need to have a couple of sessions with your physiotherapist.

To let you know how much weight loss you require I would require the above parameters. But you can follow these simple guidelines to start:

1.Consume carbohydrates such as wheat,cereals,bajra,jowar,rice only for lunch and once you get used to this have carbohydrates on alternate days.
2.Dinner should consist of only soups,salads and proteins such as sprouts,paneer,pulses,fish.
3. Have 3-4 servings of fruits and 3-4 servings of vegetables throughout the day.
4.Eliminate tea and coffee and replace them with green tea,buttermilk,lime water.
5.Any kind of high impact exercise for 45 mins in a day would be helpful.
