Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Ivo Ditah's Response
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about your struggles with weight gain. Can I also have an idea of what your heights are? It is true that excess weight has far reaching consequences on health and tackling this would improve health. Reduced calories intake through a controlled diet and regular exercise would help. But seen your weights, talk to a weight management specialist on this. Surgery would be considered if non surgical methods fail or you have complications related to your weight.
I hope this helps. I wish you well.
