What Is The Cause And Remedy For Painful Hips Post A Miscarriage?

Hi. I have miscarriage last week. This is my first time. Placenta and other residues had come out naturally. Bleeding and spotting has stop now. However, i got this mild pain on my two hips, more particularly on the butt. Is this normal? May i know the cause of this and how to cure? Your answer is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

As a first step you can take analgesics like Mefenemic acid (Meftal) is the brand name for symptomatic relief. If pain persists, you can consult a gynecologist and get an ultrasound scan done to rule out any possible retained bits of tissues which can cause aches.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
