Hello,
The commonest cause of pain while passing urine associated with lower abdominal pain is urinary tract infection. It could also be a simple and self limiting inflammation of the urinary bladder caused by virus infection. Since the urine test is normal, a bladder inflammation can be managed with plenty of liquids to drink. Is there a history of stones in the kidney or urinary tract in your family? If the pain persists it may be useful to consult your physician for doing X ray and ultrasound scan of the abdomen to look for stone.
