What Is The Cause And Treatment For Darkened,numb Tongue And Scratchy Throat?
My tongue has slightly darkened and is numb and I have a scrathy throat?
Yesterday when I brushed my teeth before bed I realised that my tongue had dark patches on it. Today it has become slightly lighter, however it feels numb and my taste isn't really good. Also it is very fury and I have a scratchy throat. There are white patches in the back where i feel the scratchiness. Someone please help me. I have been diagnosed with a yeast infection, however, not in the mouth. Looking on the internet I did not see any tongue yeast infections with my symptoms. I am really paranoid right now so please help if possible. BTW what doctor can I see for this issue? Ears nose and throat? Or a dentist?

hello thanks for the queiry, it could be fungal infections in the tongue and throat, either ways clean ur tongue with a soft brush and do salt water gargle thrice daily, and c ent surgeon for the proglm..if prblm doesnt subside then have a check up for dental proglms,,hope it helps,,tc
