What Is The Cause Bleeding From Mouth After Experiencing Seizure?

when i wake in the morning, the blood has pooled to one side of my lower lip (usually the right side) it is dark red to purplish in color. after i have gotten up and moved around, it dissipates. the other day, i had a seizure and this happened to my lip again. i am very concerned. what is causing this?

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be becz of lip biting during seizure,,it could have resulted in hematoma,,kindly consult oral medicine/oral surgeon and neurologist for a check up and treatment..hope it helps,,tc
