What Is The Cause For A Lump Above Belly Button In A Kid ?

My daughter is 3 and she has a little lump above the belly button, she says it doesn t hurt, what could it be?

If it is a lump which does not move on cough ,not big , change in size , does not cause pain , has no discharge , You have nothing to worry.It could be a benign swelling.However it is important for you to see Pediatrician and get it examined.Examination can give a better idea on what it is.
Please consult Pediatrician for physical examination and Ultrasound if needed.
