Hi, I have had a bruise on my right eyelid and above my eyebrow since I was young. I am 21 now and still have it, it's horrible because I have to keep my hair long. It doesn't hurt, every once in awhile ill have a throbbing pain. It gets darker and fades I don't understand. It's like blue purple, please help!

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
you might be having a low platelet count and hence you are developing these bruises.
Get your platelet levels, bleeding and clotting time checked.
Sometimes spontaneous bruising might be associated with dangerous systemic conditions.
I suggest you to get a thorough check up done.
Usually it takes around 2 weeks for the bruise to heal,
you can use oint thrombophobe to get a faster relief.
A photograph would have helped me better.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
Thank you
