What Is The Cause For Extreme Pain In My Ovaries?

Tryin the to conceive , I was on the depo for nine months I am 20 years old ... My first two periods came back to my usual 28 day cycle now I was supposed to start on Saturday ! But no show of my monthly period Monday kicks in and I had hurrendous pain in my left ovary from morning to night it was soooo bad then woke up Tuesday to no pain and no period took my fourth preg test and still negitive ! Keep having odd pains like period pain but not if that makes sence Just wondering what on earth is going on am I pregnant i am now 5 days late thanks

Hallow Dear,

You have missed your period. Moreover you are having pain on left side - severe excruciating pain. Please do not ignore this. The pain you are suspecting from ovary, may be from the tube also. Please get your Beta hCG test done ASAP. If it is weak positive, it is very much likely that you are having ectopic pregnancy which could have ruptured or bleeding inside the abdomen. These events give such excruciating pain. Laparoscopy also may help in diagnosing and treating the condition.

Ectopic Pregnancy is pregnancy occurring somewhere outside the uterine cavity. If it is in the tube, the tube may rupture as the pregnancy advances. Ectopic pregnancy is a bleeding emergency and needs indoor treatment with blood transfusion and surgical intervention. In few cases, where it has not ruptured, it may be treated with medicines like Methotrexate.

Please report to the Obstetrician ASAP.
