What Is The Cause For Extreme Pain In The Hip?

hello my grandpa has extreme pain in his hip,he used to be very active, never babied himself or anything,he never let pain get him down. now he can hardly walk, he has totally quit working. And he is in non-stop pain. Please help,we are desperate...and his Dr. just laughs and says hes watching it...what is the matter?

It could be muscular pain or conditions like sciatica.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.
