What Is The Cause For Frequently Passing Stools Who Is 4 Years Old?

i have a 4 1/2 year old daughter who has for the past week going poop at least 3 times maybe 4 a day. just a few minutes ago she woke up because she pooped in her pants while sleeping. She has never ever had an accident especially pooping,
should i be concerned?

Hai...by what you quote it seems that she is having viral diarrhea. you never mentioned that she is dull or lethargic...so I assume she is not dehydrated. For this condition replacement of losses is enough along with since supplements. She requires ORS and Zinc supplements. But if she develops blood in motion or green colored vomiting...see your pediatrician.Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply...kindly rate it.
