What Is The Cause For Mild Liver Enlargement?
My son is 4. I was just told he has mild liver enlargement. No one has ever brought this to my attention before. He has severe food allergies so for the past two yrs all he has been eating is French fries. He has a history of EE, gurd, asthma, eczema. What could have caused this and his is it usually treated?

most children have a large liver and so it may be normal for him
he should have an ultrasound scan of his liver and some blood work
if this is all normal it is reassuring that there is no issue
