What Is The Cause For Numbness In My Hand When I Move My Arm After A Blood Test?

I recently had a blood test and when the nurse inserted the needle (more like stabbed) I had a piecing pain in my lower arm about 4 cm above my wrist on the right of the arm. Since then I have continued to have numbness and a feeling that when my arm is outstretched that my skin is attached to my muscle I also am aware of the area constantly and when I bend my arm towards my shoulder I get pain both at the wrist and in the lower upper arm. I am concerned that the nurse may have injured a nerve in my arm and am concerned that I may have ongoing issues. What do you think I should do?

i hope movements are normal in your hand. Injections at wrong place may cause complications. i hope your injection was near any cutaneous nerve so you felt some tingling and numbness. Do not worry this will soon recover. cutaneous nerve carries sensations and irritation of these may cause altered sensation.
