What Is The Cause For The Difficulty In Urinating Along With Liitle Blood After Dx With Prostate Ca?
my father in law was dx with prostate ca about 4 yrs ago, to my understanding he had sx for it i believe his prostate was removed. he just came back from a 3 mnth vacation, he is now complaining of difficulty urinating pain when urinating and peeing a little blood. What could this be related to? i schedule an appt with his pcp for next week they're earliest available....

Since he has a history of cancer, first and foremost its important to rule out a re-lapse. Other cause of bleeding may be calculi or severe kidney infection. He needs examination, and scans along with a cystoscopy.
