What Is The Cause For Ticks?

I just returned from South Dakota where I found ticks on me. There were many ticks on their dog. I am home now, I have three bites on my mead - now I have terrible rash on my forehead (very painful) and the lumph node on my left side of my throat is swollen. I know there was no tick left on me - is this a normal reaction. I don t feel very well.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be tick bite dermatitis with secondary infection. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to take antihistaminics, antibiotics and oral steroids in tapering dose. Take treatment under observation of doctor. Self medication should be avoided.

Hope this helps.
