What Is The Cause Of A Knee Pain?

Hi, in December i fell pretty hard on ice, my knee was swelling and i had trouble walking on it for a week or so, i iced it every day, im a college athlete so i went to the trainers and he just told me to ice it every day, ive had a limp ever since then and it hurts pretty bad. the pain went away in February and i thought that was the end, every time i tried to jog it hurt, i started a new job that requires me to run and jog, after three days of it my knee was throbbing, any thoughts on what it could be?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern look the knee joint is very fragile joint in the body highly vulnerable to injury, if you have a history of injury then this is to be investigated to rule out the possibility of fracture and other internal muscular injuries, and the best option is MRI of the knee joint, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
