hello doc im lin, from philippines done my transvaginal ultra sound last april 15, 2014 here is the findings: The uterus is anteverted, and normal in size, measuring approximately 4.9 x 4.3 x 4.0 cm (LWT). It exhibits a homogeneous parenchymal echopattern and a smooth external outline. The endometrium is echogenic and 1.1 cm thick. There is no definite sonographic evidence of a gestational sac or embryo within. the cervix likewise shows a homogeneous parenchymal echopattern save for a small anechoic focus posteriorly, measuring 0.5 cm in average diameter. The cervical canal is closed. No focal mass lessions or calcifications seen within. Right Ovary = 2.4 x 1.5 x 1.8 cm - lateral to the uterine body, Left ovar = 2.5 x 1.8 x 1.7 cm - left adnexa. The ovaries appear normal in size with small, anechoic foci within the largest in the right measures 0.7 cm, while that in the left measures 0.6 cm in their average diameters. there is a questionable complex, predominantly solid, round, hypoechoic focus adjacent to and not-well separated from the right ovary, measuring approximately 3.6 x 3.2 x 2.7 cm. The posterior cul-de-sac is intact. LMP feb 16, 2014. Two months delayed. Done home preg test last March 21, 24, and 26 with the same result of 1 faint line and 1 dark line. My OBgyne confirmed that i am pregnant last time i visit her (that was March 26, 2014) , i was suffering a severe abdominal pain and leg cramps, i take a folic acid capsule but based on my ultrasound the sonologist havent found any sac and they did another urine pregtest and its negative. I was suffering an abdomenal pain and leg cramps. the conlusion of my ultrasound: 1. normal anteverted uterus with a secretomy endometrium 2. nabothian cyst 3. questionable small complex focus in the right aadnexa. Ovarian etiology is one consideration. Pelvic abscess/ectopic pregnancy not totally ruled out. Please correlate clinically. Close follow-up is also suggested. 4. Normal-sized left ovary with follicles as described.
