What Is The Cause Of Bleeding After Finishing Periods For A Person Having PCOS?
I had my period was sometime in July , 2013. Did pregnancy tests in September, 2013, and it was negative . However, I got a period on 15th October, 2013 but today is the 29 th of October, 2013 and I'm still bleeding. What is happening? I was diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years ago.

Recurrence can be seen in poly cystic ovary disease.
Apart from this, delay in periods can occur due to many causes like hormonal imbalance, thyroid abnormalities etc.
Delay in periods sometimes can lead to excessive growth of endometrium.
So,when the menstrual bleeding occurs after long gap, that can lead to heavy flow.
Once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for ultrasound.
Ultrasound helps in detecting present status of ovaries.
Then with your doctor's advice you can take tablets to control the bleeding and also treatment for the cause of delayed periods.

Pregnancy test if performed correctly is sensitive enough to detect pregnancy. as your pregnancy test was negative, unlikely to be pregnant.
Irregular periods are common in PCOS. As you were already diagnosed 10 years ago.
You can get ultrasound abdomen and hormonal levels done to check for hormonal disturbances. Blood sugar and lipid profile test done.
Oral hormonal pills are effective in making cycles regular. metformine helps in sugar control and weight reduction. Healthy diet and regular exercise are very useful in PCOS.
