General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

I think that blood clots are caused by colon hemorrhage. But in some cases blood clots are caused by internal hemorrhoids.
To get the right treatment you need to find the exact diagnosis.

To find the diagnosis you need:
1- Abdominal Ultrasound.
2- Blood test.
3- Colonoscopy.
4- Liver function test.
5- Urine test.

You should consult your gastroenterologist and your proctologist.

I hope you find this helpful.

Regards.
Dr. Behar.
