I am passing blood and large elongated clots which, when not passed, interfere painfully with urine flow. I don't feel sore in my back or kidney area, or bladder as far as that goes. Once passed, urine gets clear again and flows painlessly until the next episode. What is going on?
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
There are chances of cystitis(urinary bladder infection) in your case. I suggest you to do USG abdomen and pelvis to check kidney, bladder, ureter. One blood investigation RFT(renal function test) and urine routine and microscopy. Follow up with the reports. Drink plenty of water.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
