What Is The Cause Of Frequent UTI And Yeast Infections Inspite Of Drinking Lots Of Water?

Hi, I'm having a really painful burning sensation while I use the bathroom. Today my urine also smelt like burning rubber. Also when I urinate I feel as I have to go after I just went. This is kind of a common thing it comes and goes an has been reoccurring for the last 2-4 years. I was told a couple months ago I had a lot of white bloods cells and it was a yeast infection but I was given medication and it still happens it often feels like a uti but I don't know why I keep getting it. Occasionally I do have cloudy urine and also sometimes bleeding. I drink about 8 bottles of water a day so i know its bot because of dehydration. Do you know what is causing this?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have what is called as Acute on Chronic UTI.

Mostly this is due to your UTI is ot eradicated completely due to not taking appropriate antibiotics.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessement and to find out the reaso for getting repeated episodes of UTI.

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.



Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
