What Is The Cause Of Lower Back Pain?

dear doctor, myHusband has a terrible pain on his lower back. This pain is so back he cant stand for long,his has had several tests done and is currently on medication but without relief.his legs are swollen and when you press it creates a dent please what can this be?

pain could be because of :
1.disc prolapse leading to back pain
2.radiating pain due to above may lead to leg pain
3. DVT also lead to leg pain
4.dent in leg shows edema which could be due to kidney and heart issues
physiotherapy ,heat therapy may help in reducing pain
s.creatinine ,hemogram
