What Is The Cause Of Nausea?

Hi , I was wondering what does it mean when you do not vomit in a couple of years? I am beginning to become concerned because I am always feeling nauseous and can't sleep very much at night, every night. I am a bit paranoid by this as well. Can you help?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about always feeling nausea and unable to sleep at night but no vomiting at all, are worried as you are getting paranoid over this.
This looks to be due to gastritis with GERD or so wherein there is no vomiting but surely have the nausea and hence unable to sleep due to the original problem as well as due to stress and anxiety you have.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
First of all get an upper GI Endoscopy to get the correct diagnosis and H. pylori test along with other tests of stool, blood and urine.
Get started on a PPI like Omeprazole.
Domperidone to stop nausea and regularize the bowel.
Antacid liquid when on empty stomach.
This should help you to get a symptomatic relief and may be a possible cure.
Not vomiting at all is very normal for any human being, so no worry about this.
Get the further management as per the reports of the investigations .
