What Is The Cause Of Numbness In The Forehead?

I have numbness in my forehead down to my nose... Has been there for 4 days. Can this be related to a lot of wine drinking throughout the holidays and what steps should I take now? I am a healthy 43y/o female outside of high blood pressure treated with lisinopril

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms could be related to a pinched nerve in this region, probably related to a trauma. Alcohol intake may cause an increased vulnerability of the nerves.
Coming to this point, I would just recommend taking complex Vitamin B supplements.
If the problem persists, I recommend consulting with your doctor for a careful physical exam and some tests:
- a sinus X ray study for sinus infection
- complete blood count.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
