HI i am 31 years old guy i felt pain near kideny all of sudden,but i was suffering with problem feeling problem to pee abnormally much than a normal man,then i visited the doctor and he did ultrasound ,and in report all organs like liver,gallbladder,left kideny are normol in functioning and size,BUT RT KIDNEY HAS PROMINENT PELVICALYCEAL SYSTEM BUT NO CALCULAS SEEN I
Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in loin with abnormal urination .
Your Ultrasound scanning has revealed prominent pelvi calyaeal system which suggests partial obstruction of the ureter most likely to be due to stone in the mid portion of ureter which is not picked up by ultrasound due to overlapping of bowels..
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Routine urine test 2) Plain X-ray abdomen for kidney ,ureter and bladder to rule out stone in urinary system. 3) C.T Scan or IVP
Further treatment will be decided by him on findings of these tests and final diagnosis. Dr.Patil.
