What Is The Cause Of Persistent Cough In Family With High IGe Levels On Blood Test?

Dear Doctor, I have recently shifted in a house and all my family members including my kids are suffering from persistent cough since 20 days (we shifted around 3 months back). I have an inverter in one of my rooms with closed windows. Can it be a cause of health problems that we are facing. My blood test shows IGe levels of 677 kU/l and I am 37 years of age.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it is an allergic reaction to some thing,it may be the food, clothes, wool, cosmetics, or soap. Try to avoid these one by one and try to find the allergen.
Inverter may not have any relation to the allergy, but should not be kept,in a closed room, some or other ventilation should be allowed.
I advise you to consult a chest physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifiime, phenylelphrine hydrochloride, levocitrizine, ammonium chloride.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, ice water, ice cream, and the things allergic to you.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
