What Is The Cause Of Red Stool In An Infant, And Could It Be An Allergy To Milk?

Hello, my son is a 6 months old twin today while changing his diaper I found it red in colour so I went for a stool analysis and it came out nil for everything except for the puss cells that are 3 - 5 hpf and RBCs 2- 4 hpf also few traces for veg fat and fibers , so plz is this normal or what , please bare in mind that he has been sick for the past week with a cough wiz mucues and he has been on antibiotics cephidin for 5 days now , also can it be an allergy from the milk cause his sister has cma and he used to have it but it wasnt sever as his twin sister thx so much awaiting your reply

Your query is appreciated, I advise you not to worry for what the RBC and Puss cell seen actually it is not the puss cell but it is the WBC and few RBC and WBC in stool is normal one, neither it is the allergic condition what you are suspecting for antibiotic over all it is nothing to worry, once the stool being analyzed and it is okay then no need to worry about this, hope this information and advise helps.
