What Is The Cause Of Right Upper Quadrant Pain?

I was diagnosed with mononucleosis at the end of November. I have had some right upper quadrant pain but, nothing like what started late last night. I have been awake most of the night as the pain is acute enough to not allow a comfortable sleeping position. I'm concerned that I shouldn't ignore it and go in to work.

HI. If the pain is so much , it goes in favor of a gall bladder pathology as the first differential diagnosis. Ultrasonography will help to have a correct diagnosis and be of a guideline for further treatment.
