What Is The Cause Of Stiff Finger And Wrist After A Fracture In The Metacarpel?
i had fractured my metacarpel. after removal of cast my wrist and finger has become stiff and i cannot bend it. my doctor suggested to dip my hand in hot water and do few exercises. another doctor suggested to alternate between hot and cold. i have been prescribed signoflam for 5 days. what do i do now.
hi, hand immobilisation for fractures are notorious for causing stiffness of wrist and fingers .u should dip your hand in hot water and do exercises as recommended. u can also take few sessions of WAX BATH from the physiotherapist. signoflam for 5 days will help to reduce pain and swelling but exercising is the most important of them all. it will take atleast 2-3 weeks for complete recovery regards
