What Is The Cause Of Stiffness In The Hands And Ankles With Demyelination?

I was diagnosed with demyelination in the brain stem (1 occurence, 1 episode) had glucocorticoid iv and taking oral medicines for almost 4 months. Still after exercise I have stiffness in the hands and ankles of leg (only left side affected) is this normal?

Hello,
It is very normal to have stiffness or other neurological symptoms in demyelination of brain stem.
You should continue the exercise regularly and take medicines as prescribed your treating doctor.
