What Is The Cause Of Sudden Jaw And Neck Pain?

I was sitting up in bed watching television and I had this sudden pain in my jaw that radiated around to the back of my neck near my brainstem. It was a dull aching pain as opposed to a sharp pain. The pain has eased slightly but remains now after 10 minutes.

Hello,
This sounds like a muscle spasm. Use warm compresses on the neck and try some ibuprofen. If it does not resolve see a doctor.
